Philippe Maltais

Philippe Maltais advises entrepreneurs and business leaders at every stage of their development, particularly in business start-ups, mergers and acquisitions, business transfers and reorganizations, financing, corporate law and the drafting of various commercial agreements.

A graduate of the Université de Sherbrooke, Me Maltais completed his Bachelor of Laws there. During his studies, he was actively involved in student life, notably as coordinator of the Sports Law Committee and as a student delegate within a team of the Business Law Clinic at the School of Management.

In his practice, Me Maltais serves as a legal advisor to entrepreneurs, favouring a practical and proactive approach focused on delivering solutions tailored to his clients’ business realities and objectives.

A sports enthusiast, Me Maltais was accredited as a player agent with the Canadian Football League (CFL), a role that allowed him to develop strong contract negotiation skills in a highly strategic setting. He was also a member of the Université de Sherbrooke’s Vert et Or track and field team.
