Yves Bastien

Me Yves Bastien is an experienced and versatile litigator whose expertise extends to civil law, penal law, municipal law, business law, and insurance law. He pleads regularly before all levels of courts and primarily represents business clients.

His expertise also encompasses injunctions, commercial leases, partnership agreements, franchising, contracts, issues related to the Régie des alcools, des courses et des jeux, labour law, civil liability, defamation, as well as tax, criminal and regulatory offences. Furthermore, from 2011 to 2019, he has advised several municipalities as an attorney.

Me Bastien has acted as a trainer for the Conseil québécois des ressources humaines en tourisme (CQRHT), the Association Restauration Québec, and the Union des municipalités du Québec, informing newly elected officials on matters relating to ethics and deontology.
