Marc Charland Lawyer
For almost 30 years, Me Marc Charland has been practising in the areas of real estate law, hidden defects, co-ownership law, and construction law. Furthermore, he has been involved in all types of civil and commercial litigation. Me Charland has therefore wide-ranging experience to represent his clients at all levels of court in Quebec. In addition, from 2006 to 2011, he acted as lead prosecutor of the Montréal Municipal Court, point of service for St-Léonard.
Throughout the years, Me Charland has developed a strong expertise with regard to real estate law, hidden defects as well as legal and conventional hypothecs. His experience also extends to several other areas, including sale, rental, easements, and right of way. Me Charland is a seasoned litigator who is well acquainted with all forms of actions, which include injunctions and hypothecary recourses.
His clients consist of contractors, syndicates of co-owners, small and medium-sized businesses as well as individuals who are facing litigation or various legal issues. Me Charland stands out by his passion and his capacity to develop efficient strategies aimed at resolving disputes.
In addition to his practice, Me Charland sits on the board of directors of the Barreau de Laval and is acting as its President for 2022-2023.
